How Ayurveda found me -
I am Michelle Nalini Mangroo, an Ayurvedic Practitioner (CAS, AHC) and the President and founder of Ayurvedic Home of Wellness, LLC (Vedic-how.com). With a profound understanding of the elemental energies in Ayurveda, I have discovered my calling to impart the “Knowledge of Life” in an accessible manner. My journey into Ayurveda was influenced by a diverse background – a career on Wall Street, motherhood to three sons, and extensive exposure to the American school education system. The demands and stresses of modern life, including environmental factors, diet, and lifestyle, took a toll on my physical and emotional well-being. In search of guidance for preventive and corrective healing for myself and my family, I felt compelled to embrace my dharma (duty) as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, drawing from the rich heritage of Ayurvedic teachings ingrained in my family.
Ayurveda is deeply woven into my ancestry, as I was born into a household where Ayurvedic practices and traditional lifestyles were the norm. My formal training at the California College of Ayurveda further enriched my knowledge, opening doors to sustainable healing practices.
With unwavering care, compassion, and respect, my mission is to create awareness among clients on their Ayurvedic wellness journey. I accomplish this by sharing my expertise through Individual Treatment Plans, Ayurvedic Wellness Programs, Ayurvedic Skin and Beauty Care, Ayurvedic Body Therapies, Voice Dialogue, and coaching. My holistic approach aims to guide individuals towards balanced health and well-being through the wisdom of Ayurveda.
As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, it’s vital to grasp the essence of doshas in Ayurveda. Doshas, the elemental energies governing body and mind functions, are a fundamental aspect of this holistic system. The three doshas—Vata (comprising air and ether elements), Pitta (consisting of fire and water elements), and Kapha (made up of earth and water elements)—serve as the pillars of health and well-being. They lay the foundation for a healthy, disease-free life in their harmonious equilibrium. However, when these doshas lose balance, they are regarded as the primary instigators of ailments in Ayurveda. Each element uniquely regulates vital physiological and psychological functions, a knowledge cornerstone for ayurvedic practitioners.
As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, understanding Voice Dialogue is valuable. This approach, rooted in the Aware Ego and Psychology of Selves, delves into the intricate layers of our inner selves, each bearing unique energies that impact our choices and well-being. While these Selves serve as protective mechanisms for survival, over-activation can lead to energy depletion and illness. Voice Dialogue seamlessly aligns with Ayurvedic therapy by exploring these layers and bringing discomforted Selves to the surface. By harmonizing with the body’s innate healing wisdom, Voice Dialogue facilitation, in collaboration with Ayurveda, empowers clients to restore balance and well-being, nurturing both body and mind.
